Post Production of Script

I completed the script part of the documentary. It was very interesting to complete because visually I was unable to see what I was writing towards. Then we have an issue with one of our tapes that has our main interview. A draft script is turned in, but it is not complete due to drastic changes that must be made.

It is a little up setting but things happen for a reason. I must admit I want to extend this documentary to the Atlanta Metro area but I could not do that alone.

Anyway, this documentary will be something. We would just have to do some rearranging and until something is laid, I will not be able to make these changes.

I really enjoyed the pressure put on me to complete the script. Truthfully, it was very annoying but I got it done in Timely manner!

I am so ready to see the final product!

I will be coontinuing to work on my other papers that come along with this doc such as attributing and making sure all ends are manicured and clipped, metaphorically speaking

Production

So the script is due in three days and a lot is happening between now and then. Our tape for one of our biggest interviews was corrupted.
It is so sad to not have your main interview available so their is not telling what is about to happen with this documentary.

It really is a lot going on.

I recommend a spa after it is all said and done. Thats what I would like for graduation!

But any who the script is coming along. I have found out some very interesting information about the start of radio and who really invented it. I will have information as to why radio has been an important part of our history meaning America and what new things radio is looking towards.

This invention changed a whole way of life and I have the pleasure of sharing that with you. I will admit this journey through radio's history was not easy to collect but it was worth it!

To just think radio was television for a while. How long? You will have to watch the doc to find out the information I feel you need to know!

Thanks for reading now stay tuned for more blog entries as time nears to produce such an interesting project!

Writing the Script

Radio is an easy topic! I am really excited to pour out my ideas. The issue is I am not seeing this documentary visually so it's hard to really understand how to write what is going on. As the reporter I am going to tell the story of why radio survived and what it means to today's society. Taking an indepth look into what radio is really all about. Hoping to clear up some myths and find solutions to unanswered questions. This documentary is going to win prizes and it will show individuals how hard work and dedication comes together to produce quality!

Production

I am really excited my partner and I are really working diligently on this documenetary and have come up with more creative ideas that I am not able to share but when you see this documentary It is going to be so exciting.

I am almost ready to sit down and begin to close gaps in the script. It is coming together in my head only... lol

But I will say the footage for this documentary is really interesting. So we have completed one of our main interviews.

We have great footage and I cant wait to piece it all together.

Pre-Production

The Radio Documentary Pre-Production has been an experience.  But it is slowly coming together! The exciting part of the pre- production is meeting all the people and collecting research regarding the history of radio and what exactly needs to be done. I have been researching for weeks at a time and learning so much from articles off the internet and from going around speaking with people and how important Radio is to the community.
Be on the look out for a Trailer and more information on why Radio has survived. There is a lot that is in store for our viewers.
